What You’ll Do

  • Manage and oversee construction projects from inception to completion
  • Conduct technical and integrity inspections on construction assets
  • Ensure compliance with NHBRC standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with appointed consultants to maintain the quality of work
  • Provide timely specifications and details to contractors
  • Evaluate applications for variation orders and extensions of time
  • Monitor and assess the performance of Project Managers
  • Mentor and develop team members to improve overall project delivery

What You’ll Need

  • Matric and an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) in a Built Environment field recognized by SAQA
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience as a registered Professional Construction Project Manager with the SACPCMP
  • Valid driver’s license (or exemption for persons with disabilities)
  • Strong knowledge of programme and project management principles
  • Understanding of Town Planning legislation and National Building Regulations
  • Competency in financial management and change management
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and conflict management abilities
