What You’ll Do

  • Manage mechanical and electrical services while collaborating with Technicians and Artisans.
  • Ensure all machinery, including pumps and generators, are maintained per specifications.
  • Implement and oversee planned maintenance schedules for various equipment.
  • Address maintenance backlogs and breakdowns efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Compile technical reports and provide inputs into operational plans and budgets.
  • Manage and develop personnel, ensuring a knowledgeable and motivated team.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and methodologies relevant to the role.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate Trade Test Certificate.
  • A minimum of ten years of post-qualification experience as an Artisan or Artisan Foreman.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Proficiency in technical analysis and computer-aided applications.
  • Strong knowledge of planning, organizing, and customer responsiveness.
  • Familiarity with GIS applications and related technologies.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Project management capabilities and willingness to travel extensively.
