What You’ll Do
- Facilitate and coordinate operational and strategic planning processes.
- Develop departmental strategic plans and annual performance plans.
- Ensure alignment of the budget with strategic goals.
- Incorporate service delivery improvement plans into departmental strategies.
- Coordinate logistical arrangements for printing and binding of strategic documents.
- Monitor implementation of service delivery improvement plans and initiatives.
- Supervise and guide subordinates to enhance team performance.
What You’ll Need
- National Senior Certificate plus a National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Public Management, or Strategic Planning.
- A valid driver’s license.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in strategic planning, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of the public sector planning cycle and processes.
- Familiarity with legislative frameworks like the Public Service Act and Public Finance Management Act.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and performance information tracking systems.
