What You’ll Do
- Coordinate the compilation of Annual Performance Plans (APP) and Annual Operational Plans (AOP) for the department.
- Align departmental programmes with the strategic plan to ensure coherence in objectives.
- Consolidate inputs for the annual report, ensuring comprehensive documentation of departmental performance.
- Provide insightful inputs for the Planning Policy Review to enhance strategic approaches.
- Verify and validate performance information related to programs and projects.
- Render administrative support services to facilitate effective planning and management processes.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate National Diploma in Public Administration, Public Management, Public Policy Monitoring and Evaluation, or Development Studies (NQF Level 6).
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in strategic planning.
- Knowledge and understanding of the DPME Revised Framework, project management, legislative mandates, and Treasury regulations.
- Proficient computer skills and effective people management capabilities.
- Strong planning, organizing, report writing, and minute-taking skills.
- Excellent decision-making, analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
