What You’ll Do

  • Prepare Annual Financial Statements and Interim Financial Statements.
  • Manage financial planning and reporting processes in compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee departmental expenditure management.
  • Act as the BAS System Controller, ensuring accurate financial data management.
  • Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.

What You’ll Need

  • A relevant 3-year tertiary qualification (NQF level 6) in a finance-related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a finance environment, with at least 3 years at a supervisory level.
  • Proficiency with the Basic Accounting System (BAS).
  • An NQF level 7 qualification in a finance-related field is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, alongside excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A solid understanding of the PFMA, Treasury Regulations, Modified Cash Standards, and basic Supply Chain Management processes.
