What You’ll Do
- Coordinate the development and maintenance of the Immovable Asset Register.
- Oversee the collection, verification, and updating of immovable asset data.
- Facilitate GIS mapping and site verification processes.
- Monitor the accuracy and integrity of the Immovable Asset Register.
- Liaise with municipalities and stakeholders to validate asset data.
- Manage the acquisition and disposal processes of immovable assets in compliance with legislation.
- Engage with landowners and authorities for stakeholder engagement.
- Supervise the preparation and submission of acquisition and disposal applications.
- Ensure compliance with land claim verification and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate the registration and safekeeping of property documentation.
- Monitor updates of asset registers following acquisition or disposal processes.
- Provide technical support on vesting processes and coordinate land audit projects.
- Supervise team performance and ensure effective training and development opportunities.
What You’ll Need
- National Senior Certificate or National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Real Estate, Property Management, Land Administration, or Town Planning.
- A minimum of three years’ supervisory experience in Property Management.
- A valid driver’s license.
- In-depth knowledge of the legislative framework governing public service.
- Familiarity with departmental policies and procedures, property development principles, and land administration processes.
- Strong skills in GIS, property data analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent report writing abilities and problem-solving skills.
