What You’ll Do

  • Manage and coordinate stakeholder relations to enhance communication and engagement.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with sector departments and municipalities at the district level.
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive stakeholder database.
  • Attend and participate in all IGR forums and coordinate cluster collaborative implementations.
  • Monitor and report on the implementation of resolutions agreed upon in stakeholder meetings.
  • Oversee the rendering of communication services within the district.
  • Ensure adherence to Batho Pele Principles while managing customer service functions.
  • Compile and distribute departmental publications and newsletters.
  • Supervise team performance, providing guidance, support, and training opportunities.
  • Manage the handling of complaints and ensure timely follow-ups with stakeholders.

What You’ll Need

  • National Senior Certificate.
  • B-Degree or National Diploma in Public Management, Administration, Management, Social Science, or Development Studies (NQF L6 as recognized by SAQA).
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience at a supervisory level or SL7/8.
  • Valid driver’s license is compulsory.
  • Strong knowledge of the RSA Constitution, Public Service Act, and IGR Framework Act.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in computer and project management skills.
