What You’ll Do

  • Monitor and compile financial reports, including Interim and Annual Financial Statements.
  • Oversee cash management functions, including banking, petty cash, and cashier operations.
  • Manage various payment processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Supervise claims recoverable accounts and other non-salary suspense accounts.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate submission of financial reports with proper supporting documentation.
  • Perform managerial functions to guide and support team members in their roles.

What You’ll Need

  • A relevant 3-year B-Degree in Financial Management at NQF level 7 or higher.
  • A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a financial environment.
  • Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and relevant Treasury Regulations.
  • Familiarity with public service accounting procedures and systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven computer literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Project management and people management capabilities.
