What You’ll Do

• Develop and facilitate procurement plans tailored for the District, ensuring they align with the allocated budget.
• Monitor and review existing procurement plans, providing reports to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
• Conduct needs analysis to verify past spending and assess future requirements of the District.
• Perform commodity and industry analysis to remain informed about available resources in the market.
• Ensure timely procurement of goods and services while guaranteeing value for money.
• Supervise the performance of allocated resources, fostering an environment of growth and excellence among team members.
• Maintain the safekeeping of documents and compile regular performance reports for management.

What You’ll Need

• A National Senior Certificate or National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• A minimum of three years’ experience at a supervisory level within Demand Management.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Strong knowledge of National Treasury and Provincial Treasury Prescripts, as well as applicable legislation and policies.
• Exceptional skills in report writing, negotiation, and people management.
• Proficiency in computer literacy and analytical skills.
