What You’ll Do
- Develop and facilitate procurement plans tailored for the District, ensuring they align with the allocated budget.
- Monitor and review existing procurement plans, providing reports to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
- Conduct needs analysis to verify past spending and assess future requirements of the District.
- Perform commodity and industry analysis to remain informed about available resources in the market.
- Ensure timely procurement of goods and services while guaranteeing value for money.
- Supervise the performance of allocated resources, fostering an environment of growth and excellence among team members.
- Maintain the safekeeping of documents and compile regular performance reports for management.
What You’ll Need
- A National Senior Certificate or National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- A minimum of three years’ experience at a supervisory level within Demand Management.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Strong knowledge of National Treasury and Provincial Treasury Prescripts, as well as applicable legislation and policies.
- Exceptional skills in report writing, negotiation, and people management.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and analytical skills.
