What You’ll Do
- Provide administrative support to the Chief Directorate and manage various administrative activities.
- Ensure the efficient flow of documents and information within the Chief Directorate and the department.
- Oversee the administration of finances and coordinate procurement activities.
- Assist with submissions for the Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF).
- Provide secretariat support for meetings, ensuring timely submission of minutes and agendas.
- Manage human and physical resources, including leave records and asset registers.
- Coordinate the procurement of assets and equipment as needed.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 (NQF 4) certificate and an NQF 6 qualification in Management, Office Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in office administration and financial management at a supervisory level.
- Knowledge of Public Service Regulations and the Public Service Act.
- Strong understanding of financial policies as guided by Treasury Regulations.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), alongside planning and organizing abilities.
- Proficient in problem-solving, decision-making, and project management, with good computer skills, particularly in MS Office.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to work independently under pressure.
