What You’ll Do
- Monitor reservoir levels and sewer pumps to ensure functionality.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on water and sewer pipelines, including fittings.
- Install and maintain sewer connections and new mains.
- Manage requisitions for materials and store records efficiently.
- Keep detailed records of daily work activities.
- Ensure adherence to Occupational Health & Safety protocols on-site.
- Supervise staff to maintain high standards and efficiency.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of Grade 10-12 or equivalent qualifications.
- Completed apprenticeship and trade test certificate in Plumbing.
- Basic computer literacy for managing time entries and work orders.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to work irregular hours and respond to emergencies.
- Ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of Mpumalanga.
- Capacity to work under pressure and in adverse weather conditions.
- Preparedness to perform overtime and standby duties, including weekends and public holidays.
