About the Role
The Mechanical Workshop in Mokopane and surrounding areas in the Waterberg District is looking for skilled individuals to join their team as Artisan Production Grade A. This role is vital for the upkeep and enhancement of our road-related plant and equipment. By ensuring that vehicles and machinery are serviced and repaired efficiently, you will contribute significantly to the smooth operation of public service activities that benefit the community and drive economic growth in the region. What You’ll Do
- Perform services and repairs on road-related plant and equipment.
- Receive and assess job cards for necessary repairs.
- Conduct visual inspections and troubleshoot issues on machinery and vehicles.
- Replace filters, drain oil, and refill fluids as part of routine services.
- Maintain accurate job records and compile technical reports.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
What You’ll Need
- A valid Trade Test Certificate as a Diesel Mechanic.
- Relevant experience will be an added advantage.
- A valid driver’s license (applicants with disabilities are exempt).
- Knowledge of relevant acts and regulations related to maintenance and safety.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in computer applications.
