What You’ll Do

• Perform general mechanical maintenance on pumps and other equipment.
• Execute welding and brazing tasks as needed.
• Inspect equipment for technical faults and implement repairs according to standards.
• Service equipment according to a predefined schedule.
• Ensure quality assurance in line with specifications and safety regulations.
• Implement planned maintenance and maintain accurate maintenance logbooks.
• Manage tools and materials effectively to ensure optimal use.
• Compile and submit technical and performance reports as required.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering their development.
• Stay updated with new technologies to enhance personal and professional growth.

What You’ll Need

• An Appropriate Trade Test Certificate in welding.
• Valid unexpired driver’s license.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of production processes and technical report writing skills.
• Familiarity with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS).
• Basic computer literacy and good communication skills.
• Capability to work long hours and perform standby duties as needed.
• Strong technical analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel as required for job functions.
