What You’ll Do

• Produce building designs and layouts according to specified requirements.
• Lay bricks using appropriate materials and equipment while adhering to recognized standards.
• Inspect and maintain bricklaying equipment and facilities to ensure operational efficiency.
• Repair equipment as necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Train offenders in bricklaying techniques and best practices.
• Execute work as requested by clients, ensuring timely completion of projects.
• Implement quality control measures for manufactured products.
• Prepare cost estimates and provide quotes for services rendered.
• Manage basic workshop administration tasks effectively.

What You’ll Need

• An appropriate Trade Test Certificate underwritten by the Manpower Training Act (Red Seal).
• A valid driver’s license.
• Familiarity with technical analysis and computer-aided design applications.
• Understanding of legal compliance relevant to the bricklaying trade.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Organizational skills with a focus on planning and execution.
• A customer-focused attitude with creativity and self-management.
