What You’ll Do

  • Supervise and produce designs based on client specifications and production capabilities.
  • Ensure quality assurance of all produced objects, maintaining high standards throughout.
  • Inspect equipment and facilities for technical faults, repairing and servicing them as necessary.
  • Maintain registers of repaired faults and provide specifications for procurement of materials.
  • Compile reports and provide inputs for operational planning.
  • Mentor and supervise staff, planning resources and scheduling work effectively.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated with new technologies.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, requirements, and regulations at all times.

What You’ll Need

  • Appropriate Trade Test Certificate.
  • A minimum of five years of post-qualification experience as an Artisan.
  • Valid driver’s license (with exceptions for people with disabilities).
  • Knowledge in project management, technical design, and analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make effective decisions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with computer-aided design applications and technical report writing.
