What You’ll Do

• Supervise electrical maintenance and inspections of cathodic protection systems.
• Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify technical faults and implement repairs.
• Oversee the maintenance of bulk raw water infrastructure and associated machinery.
• Implement planned maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Perform fault diagnosis on SCADA/PLC and telemetry systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logbooks and compile necessary reports.
• Manage human and capital resources effectively.
• Engage in continuous personal development to stay updated on new technologies and practices.

What You’ll Need

• An appropriate Electrical Trade Test Certificate.
• Five years of post-qualification experience as an Artisan.
• A valid unexpired driver’s license.
• Proficiency in technical analysis and computer-aided applications.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and computer literacy.
• Planning and organizing skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, PMDS, and PFMA.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
