What You’ll Do

  • Train and develop offenders in various artisan trades, including electrical and plumbing skills.
  • Manage administrative tasks and ensure compliance with operational standards.
  • Oversee workplace safety, tools, and equipment management.
  • Control inventory and manage logistical operations effectively.
  • Design, produce, and maintain training programs and performance evaluations.
  • Supervise human and financial resources, ensuring optimal use and efficiency.
  • Prepare technical reports and maintain performance information records.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate Trade Test Certificate underwritten by the Manpower Training Act (Red Seal).
  • A minimum of five (5) years of post-qualification experience as an Artisan.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Strong competencies in team leadership and technical analysis.
  • Proficient in computer applications related to trade and administration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication, planning, and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of legal compliance and conflict management techniques.
