What You’ll Do

  • Provide technical support in sustainable land use planning in accordance with relevant legislation.
  • Implement landcare programs to promote soil conservation and resource management.
  • Facilitate soil conservation works to enhance agricultural productivity.
  • Manage administrative duties, including reporting and coordinating with stakeholders.
  • Engage with various stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project success.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of Grade 12 and an appropriate qualification (NQF level 6) in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Land Use Planning, or Agricultural Management.
  • Compulsory registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa.
  • A valid driver’s license (not applicable for people with disabilities).
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including CARA, SPLUMA, and NEMA.
  • Strong planning, organizing, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the capability to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in technical report writing and data analysis.
