What You’ll Do

  • Process requisitions for goods and services, ensuring accurate order placement and coordination.
  • Manage the safekeeping and distribution of goods, checking received items against requisitions.
  • Capture goods into the relevant procurement system and handle returns for damaged or incorrect items.
  • Prepare and collate payment documentation to support financial processes.
  • Assist in monitoring and supporting inventory stocktaking and stock count procedures.
  • Conduct visits during stocktaking to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Compile and submit stocktaking reports and inventory management documentation.
  • Verify physical stock against records and monitor adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Develop proposals for inventory disposal methods and present them for approval.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12/Matric certificate.
  • A qualification at NQF level 06 in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Financial Management, or Financial Accounting.
  • A minimum of two years of related experience in logistics and supply chain management.
  • A valid driver’s license (exceptions apply for applicants with disabilities).
  • Strong knowledge of public service acts, regulations, and supply chain management procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and financial management skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and effective communication abilities.
