What You’ll Do
- Render financial management services and facilitate the preparation of the annual budget.
- Compile and maintain the Demand Management Plan and oversee the utilization of funds.
- Coordinate budgeting, auditing, and financial functions within the department.
- Manage procurement processes for goods and services while ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Facilitate supply chain management services and oversee reporting on related matters.
- Supervise and develop staff through performance agreements and provide general office support.
- Administer claims, travel bookings, and maintain records, including asset management.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 Certificate and a National Diploma in Public Administration, Public Management, Business Administration, or a relevant equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative environment.
- Knowledge of Public Service Regulations, financial procedures, and Treasury Regulations.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and effective communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal relations, organizing, planning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
