What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Component Head, ensuring the smooth operation of departmental tasks.
  • Manage and maintain correspondence and files, ensuring confidentiality is upheld at all times.
  • Supervise the coordination of various meetings, catering to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exercise control over allocated human, physical, and financial resources to ensure optimal usage.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative processes that enhance efficiency.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4).
  • At least four years of relevant experience in administrative functions.
  • An applicable three-year Diploma/Degree (NQF level 6 or higher) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English and one other official language.
  • A valid driver’s license for light motor vehicles is beneficial.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with good interpersonal abilities.
  • General computer literacy, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
