What You’ll Do
- Provide effective frontline service to patients and stakeholders within the rehabilitation department.
- Manage appointment diaries, including scheduling and rescheduling appointments as necessary.
- Ensure patient records are handled confidentially and comply with health information regulations.
- Maintain an efficient filing system for the rehabilitation department.
- Oversee administrative supplies and consumables to facilitate seamless service delivery.
- Report any malfunctioning therapeutic and office equipment to the appropriate personnel.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum educational qualification of a Senior Certificate or equivalent.
- Appropriate administrative or clerical experience within a multidisciplinary allied health department.
- Proficiency in health information systems, particularly in managing patient records.
- Physical capability to perform frontline support functions within the rehabilitation department.
- Availability to work flexible hours as needed.
- Computer literacy in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong knowledge of appointment scheduling and maintaining diaries.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to support collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Understanding of supply chain processes and relevant legislation related to health.
