What You’ll Do
- Manage demand and acquisition functions within the supply chain.
- Handle processes related to the Electronic Procurement System to ensure compliance.
- Prepare bidding templates and documentation for the Quotation Evaluation Committee.
- Maintain an effective asset register and ensure accurate records.
- Follow up on outstanding orders to ensure timely delivery of supplies.
- Assist with Interim and Annual Financial statement reporting.
- Ensure adherence to laws and regulations related to Supply Chain Asset and Warehouse Management.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum educational qualification of a Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with mathematics and/or Accounting as a passed subject.
- Relevant experience in Asset Management and Warehousing in a public or private environment.
- Familiarity with Procurement processes, particularly using an Electronic Procurement System.
- A valid driver’s license and a willingness to rotate within the Supply Chain environment.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of the AOS, PFMA, Finance Instructions, Provincial Treasury Instructions, and National Treasury Regulations.
- Experience with LOGIS (Logistical Information System) is beneficial.
