What You’ll Do

  • Manage the demand and acquisition of goods and services for healthcare needs
  • Compile specifications for various goods and services as required by end-users
  • Attend briefing and site meetings when necessary
  • Source quotations for goods and services via the Electronic Procurement System (EPS)
  • Prepare procurement batches for the quotation committee
  • Process, expedite, and follow up on purchase orders
  • Communicate and provide feedback to suppliers and end-users
  • Report on procurement-related transactions on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Assist in preparing interim and annual financial statements
  • Support colleagues, supervisors, and managers in achieving departmental goals

What You’ll Need

  • Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics or Accounting as a passed subject
  • Relevant experience in Supply Chain Management and public sector procurement processes
  • Proficiency in using the Electronic Procurement System (EPS), Essential Supplier List (ESL), and Logistical Information System (LOGIS)
  • Valid code B driver’s license
  • Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong communication, organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of financial administration, including relevant legislation and policies
