What You’ll Do

  • Assist end-users in compiling specifications for various procurement needs.
  • Ensure timely and efficient procurement in alignment with the approved budget.
  • Capture 154 requisitions and maintain accurate documentation within the Supply Chain (LOGIS) system.
  • Communicate effectively and take minutes during Quotation Committee meetings.
  • Process LOGIS and BAS payments while adhering to compliance standards.
  • Follow up on outstanding commitments and maintain relevant documentation for audit purposes.
  • Handle supplier queries and maintain regular communication with end-users.
  • Support colleagues and supervisors with various administrative tasks.
  • Manage the warehouse, including receiving and issuing goods, and maintaining inventory control.

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum educational qualification of a Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics or Accountancy as a passed subject.
  • Appropriate experience in Supply Chain Management and Finance Administrative processes.
  • A valid (code B/EB) driver’s license is required.
  • Willingness to travel and work overtime as necessary.
  • Knowledge of LOGIS, EPS, CSD, WCSEB, ESL, SCOA, and BAS Systems.
  • Understanding of the PFMA and National and Provincial Treasury Regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
