About the Role
The South African Police Service is currently seeking a dedicated Administration Clerk Supervisor to join their team at the Head Office in Pretoria. What You’ll Do
- Draft letters and documents related to Crime Registrar products, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Quality check and proofread all incoming and outgoing correspondence prior to submission.
- Maintain a systematic filing system for effective document classification, storage, and retrieval.
- Implement a reminder system to ensure timely reporting of deadlines and submissions.
- Compile administrative-related statistics to track compliance and submission trends.
- Coordinate logistical arrangements for meetings and travel for the Component Head.
- Prepare meeting agendas, attendance registers, and minute-taking documentation.
- Provide general administrative support to enhance office functionality.
What You’ll Need
- Proficient in English and at least one other official language.
- A South African citizen with documentary proof to be provided at the interview.
- Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of four years’ experience in a similar administrative role.
- An applicable three-year Diploma/Degree (NQF level 6 or higher) is advantageous.
- General computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
