What You’ll Do

  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to the department.
  • Administer and coordinate applications for Second-Hand Goods.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to provide information and support regarding legislation.
  • Assist in the search and rescue operations for missing or drowning persons.
  • Operate police vehicles and vessels, including communication equipment.

What You’ll Need

  • Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4).
  • At least four years’ experience in a relevant field.
  • A three-year diploma/degree (NQF Level 6 or higher) is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English and one other official language.
  • Valid driver’s license for at least a light motor vehicle.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work under pressure and beyond standard hours when required.
