What You’ll Do
- Perform general clerical duties to support the department’s activities.
- Update registers and maintain statistics relevant to the office.
- Handle routine inquiries and provide information to various stakeholders.
- Manage the distribution of documents and packages as required.
- Deliver and collect documents from nearby areas efficiently.
- Maintain a comprehensive filing system for the Directorate.
- Type correspondence such as letters and reports, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
- Provide administrative support during meetings and workshops.
- Handle confidential documents with discretion and professionalism.
- Operate standard office equipment, including photocopiers and computers.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or an equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4).
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience in an administrative role.
- A three-year Diploma/Degree (NQF Level 6 or higher) will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good general computer literacy, including MS Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and show professionalism in all interactions.
- Strong interpersonal, planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work under pressure and adapt to changing demands.
