What You’ll Do
- Coordinate the CRO’s calendar, scheduling appointments and executive meetings.
- Prepare meeting agendas, gather documentation, and take minutes during meetings.
- Book boardrooms and manage catering and audiovisual equipment.
- Type, format, and proofread confidential memos, presentations, and reports.
- Receive, screen, and route incoming and outgoing communications such as emails, calls, and mail.
- Maintain secure physical and digital filing systems for sensitive documents.
- Obtain quotations, prepare procurement forms, and order office supplies and IT equipment.
- Process subsistence and travel claims, handle petty cash, and track office budgets.
- Arrange travel logistics, including flights, accommodation, and transportation for the CRO and staff.
- Compile detailed travel itineraries and prepare necessary travel documents.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of four years’ relevant experience in administration.
- A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official South African language.
- Knowledge of relevant prescripts applicable to the Public Service.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- General computer literacy, particularly in MS Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and handle pressure with professionalism and credibility.
- Strong interpersonal skills and competencies in report writing and problem-solving.
