What You’ll Do

  • Perform general clerical duties, including data capturing and document management
  • Handle correspondence and maintain accurate records within the National Operations Centre
  • Provide first-line administrative support by logging incidents and tracking requests
  • Ensure timely communication between units and stakeholders
  • Assist with user account administration, including password resets and access support for SAPS internal systems
  • Uphold compliance with confidentiality and data protection policies
  • Deliver efficient administrative support through adherence to standard operating procedures

What You’ll Need

  • Proficiency in English and one other official language
  • A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification (NQF level 4)
  • A three-year National Diploma (NQF6) in Information Technology, Information Systems, or Computer Systems is advantageous
  • A valid code 8 driver’s license will be advantageous
  • At least one year of functional experience in the ICT field or technical support environment
  • Knowledge of network connectivity technologies and end-user support procedures
  • Strong communication, computer literacy, and time management skills
  • Ability to act independently and professionally, with strong attention to detail
