What You’ll Do
- Participate in the annual asset count and conduct ad hoc inspections of hospital assets.
- Dispose of redundant, obsolete, and unserviceable items according to established policies.
- Barcode and track all assets to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Update and maintain the asset register, including entries for purchased, donated, transferred, and disposed items.
- Assist in the implementation and adherence to relevant asset management policies.
What You’ll Need
- A Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject, or relevant experience focusing on the Key Performance Areas (KPAs).
- Appropriate asset management experience.
- Proficiency in computer literacy, particularly in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and National Provincial Treasury regulations and policies.
