What You’ll Do

  • Administer correspondence and manage filing systems to maintain accurate records.
  • Handle logistical matters to ensure smooth operational processes within the department.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets and databases for tracking important information.
  • Answer phone calls, address complaints, and communicate effectively with management.
  • Provide financial administrative support to enhance budget management and resource allocation.
  • Assist with human resource administrative duties related to personnel services.
  • Uphold high levels of discipline and adhere to the South African Police Service Code of Conduct.
  • Contribute to enhancing police professionalism and delivering quality police services.

What You’ll Need

  • Grade 12 / Senior Certificate / NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification (NQF level 4 as recognized by SAQA).
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other official South African language.
  • Competency in core functions of the position and general computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to act independently and professionally.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, administrative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Willingness to work under pressure and during extended hours as necessary.
