What You’ll Do

  • Collect, collate, and validate corporate information essential for decision-making.
  • Compile routine and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and presentations to support management decisions.
  • Administer user accounts and provide support for designated business systems.
  • Develop and maintain digital solutions using tools like Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint.
  • Offer first-line IT support and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Support meeting-room and audio-visual needs for various platforms, including Microsoft Teams.
  • Maintain asset registers and manage ICT consumables and related administrative tasks.
  • Provide cross-cover support across Metro Health Services as needed.

What You’ll Need

  • Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant experience in information management, data administration, or office administration.
  • Proficiency in using spreadsheets and presenting information effectively.
  • Experience in supporting users on information systems or digital platforms.
  • Valid Code B driver’s license with a willingness to travel between facilities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Customer service orientation and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Requirements

Minimum educational qualification: Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.

Experience: Appropriate experience in information management, data administration, records administration, reporting or office administration.

Appropriate experience in collecting, validating, analysing and presenting information using spreadsheets, reports, graphs and presentations.

Appropriate experience supporting users on information systems, digital platforms or business applications.

Appropriate experience in healthcare information systems.

Inherent requirements of the job: Valid (Code B) driver's licence.

Willingness to travel between Department of Health and Wellness facilities across Metro Health Services to conduct system support, asset verification and service support visits when required.

Willingness to work overtime when operationally required and authorised.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure responsible management of information, records and user access permissions.

Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Sound information management, reporting and data quality skills.

Advanced computer literacy with strong Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to prepare dashboards, reports and presentations.

Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.

Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform technologies including Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate.

Ability to provide first-line systems administration and digital support.

Ability to provide first-line IT support and troubleshoot common hardware, software and connectivity issues.

Knowledge of asset administration, records management 194 and audit requirements.

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Duties

Collect, collate, validate, analyse and present corporate information and management information products for Metro Health Services.

Compile routine and ad hoc reports, dashboards, graphs, presentations and other decision- support products.

Support the administration of designated business systems, including user account administration, user support, access management, system testing, user onboarding and training activities.

Support key identified systems such as SWIMS, SPV and other approved systems.

Develop and maintain approved digital solutions using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Forms and SharePoint to improve business processes and reporting.

Provide first-line Information Technology and end-user support relating to computers, laptops, monitors, printers, peripherals, approved software and connectivity issues.

Record, track and escalate incidents where required.

-Provide meeting-room, boardroom and audio-visual support, including support for Microsoft Teams meetings, hybrid meeting environments and presentation technologies.

Maintain Information Technology asset registers, support device allocation and verification processes, administer DITCOM applications and manage ICT consumables and related administrative processes.

Support allocated Metro East or Metro West portfolios while providing cross-cover and support across Metro Health Services where required.

Salary

R237 453 per annum
