What You’ll Do
- Maintain accurate records of monthly and quarterly reports submitted by provinces
- Organize and manage an efficient filing system
- Compile itineraries and advance forms for departmental travel
- Arrange travel bookings and accommodations as needed
- Manage calendars and take minutes during meetings
- Ensure quality control of correspondence between the Section Head and Section Commander
- Compile progress reports in alignment with SAPS policies
- Handle logistical arrangements for departmental meetings
- Administer telephonic accounts for the sub-section
- Analyze and consolidate information related to victim-friendly services
- Maintain a database tracking stations with and without victim-friendly rooms
- Manage Human Resource Management-related administrative tasks
What You’ll Need
- Competency in the core functions related to the position
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official South African language
- Citizenship of South Africa, with documentary proof required at the interview
- A minimum of a Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or an equivalent qualification
- Relevant courses in administration will be an added advantage
- General computer literacy, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent planning, organizing, administrative, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work under pressure and willingness to extend hours when necessary
