What You’ll Do

  • Process and verify financial accounting transactions, including receiving and checking invoices for accuracy.
  • Capture payments and process invoices to maintain financial records.
  • Assist in salary administration by processing salary advices and ensuring accurate salary payments.
  • Perform bookkeeping support services, including capturing all financial transactions and clearing suspense accounts.
  • Record and manage debtors and creditors effectively.
  • Process electronic banking transactions and compile financial journals.
  • File and maintain all financial documents and records systematically.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 certificate or an equivalent qualification.
  • Basic knowledge of financial functions and practices.
  • Proficiency in data capturing and operating computer systems.
  • Familiarity with public service financial legislation and regulations (e.g., PFMA, DORA).
  • Experience with financial operating systems (such as PERSAL, BAS, LOGIS) is an advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven computer literacy and numerical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and perform routine tasks efficiently.
