Transnet offers multiple opportunities tailored to different disciplines:

  1. Young Professional-in-Training (Commercial & Planning)
    • Duration: 24 months
    • Location: Durban Terminals
    • Qualifications: Degree, BTech, or Diploma in Management Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Financial Management, Financial Accounting, Business Management, or Logistics.
    • Requirements: South African citizen, aged 18–35, 0–1 year work experience.
  2. Work Integrated Learning (Non-Technical / ICT / Commercial & Planning)
    • Duration: 18 months
    • Qualifications: Matric certificate, N6 Office Administration, or N6 Business Management.
    • Requirements: South African citizen, aged 18–35, preference for persons with disabilities. Applicants must provide certified copies of Matric certificate, academic records, ID, and TVET experiential learning letter.
  3. Young Professional-in-Training (Supply Chain)
    • Duration: 24 months
    • Location: Durban Terminals
    • Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management
    • Requirements: South African citizen, aged 18–35, 0–1 year work experience.
  4. Young Professional-in-Training (Social Work / Psychology)
    • Duration: 24 months
    • Qualifications: Degree or Honours in Social Work or Psychology
    • Requirements: South African citizen, aged 18–35, 0–1 year work experience.
