The Competition Commission of South Africa invites high-achieving graduates to apply for its 2026 Cadet Training Programme in Human Capital Management. This two-year graduate development programme provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in competition law, economics, and organisational development, while contributing to the Commission’s Vision 2030 of a competitive, inclusive economy that benefits all South Africans.
On successful completion of the programme, participants may apply for growth opportunities within the Commission.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- South African citizenship.
- Completed Honours degree in:
- Human Resource Management
- Human Capital Management
- Human Capital / Organisational Development
- Strong academic record (70%+ average is an advantage).
- No prior working experience in this field.
- Evidence of community involvement, leadership, or service beyond academics.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
- Demonstrated analytical, research, and investigative abilities.
- Computer literacy.
- Evidence of achievements during academic or professional development.
